Technical explainer
Systems, architectures and how things work. Diagrams and code carry the argument.
Post cards, chat stories and narrated explainers — written, animated and rendered vertical, ready to post. Four studios in one browser tab.
Free while in beta · no card needed
Three steps, and the last one is a download.
Post image, text story, video studio or motion explainer. Each one opens on a working example, not a blank canvas.
Type the post, the conversation or the script. The preview redraws on every keystroke, so you are always looking at the real thing.
PNG at up to 3x, a thread as a zip, or 1080x1920 video. No watermark, no queue, no upload.
Each one opens on a working example, not a blank canvas.
Built from X's real design tokens — the three themes, the 15px type scale, the media grid proportions. Chain self-replies and it becomes a thread, connector line and all.
Write the conversation, pick the messenger, and it performs itself — typing indicators, reactions and all — over a looping clip.
Drop a card onto a background clip and the body text types itself out, then holds long enough to read. Recorded in the browser.
Write what you want to say. The voiceover is generated from your words, and the visuals are planned to land on them.
A style decides the visual vocabulary your script is allowed to become. Two people writing about different things in the same style get videos that look like siblings.

Jokes, hot takes and hooks. Big numbers, hard cuts and sticker chrome.
Talks, updates and announcements. Type-led, quiet, nothing in the way.
Launches, hot takes and hooks. Electric on black, big marks, nothing to read.
Hooks, stories and lessons. A figure acts it out on a plain white page.
Stories and essays. High contrast, slower cuts, weight on every line.
Launches, hooks and reveals. Bursts, shapes and diagrams that assemble themselves.
The post image, text story and video studio never upload anything. The card is drawn and exported on your device — nothing you type or drop in leaves the browser.
Motion explainers generate narration from the words you wrote, then plan the visuals to land on them.
Real design tokens, hand-drawn action glyphs, the right grey. It survives being zoomed in on.
At 1x or 3x, image or video. We ask only that you do not pass generated cards off as genuine posts.
Everything that moves exports at 1080x1920. No reframing a landscape render afterwards.
Yes, for the studios. Signing up is free while we are in beta, with no card and no export limit. The account is what keeps your work and your renders attached to you.
Nothing while we are in beta. There is no paid tier yet, and no card is collected.
Only the motion explainer, because generating narration and planning scenes needs a model. The post image, text story and video studio run entirely in your browser and upload nothing.
Yes. It is free while we are in beta, with no card and no export limit. You do need a free account, which is what keeps your renders attached to you — the card itself still renders and exports entirely in your browser, so each image costs us nothing to make.
No. The card is rendered and exported entirely on your device. Avatars and images you add never leave your browser, and nothing you type is sent to a server or stored by us.
You can export at 1x, 2x or 3x. At 3x a timeline card comes out around 1794 pixels wide, which is sharp enough for a video edit, a thumbnail or a print.
No watermark, at any size. We ask instead that you do not present generated cards as genuine posts.
You can type any name and handle, but the tool will never look up a real account. It does not fetch anyone’s avatar, follower count or real posts. Impersonating a real person is against our use policy.
X uses a proprietary typeface called Chirp that cannot be licensed for third-party use. We use Inter with the cv05 and cv08 character variants, which is the closest freely available match — expect roughly a two percent difference in letterforms.
Yes. "Share link" packs the whole card — text, stats, theme, even the avatar — into the URL. Anyone who opens it gets your exact card, still fully editable.
Yes. Add as many follow-up posts as you like and they render as X shows self-replies in the timeline — connector line down the avatars, each post with its own time and counts. Export the whole thing as one tall image, or as one PNG per post in a zip for carousels. There is an optional toggle to number the posts 1/5, 2/5 and so on.
Yes. The video studio drops your card onto looping gameplay footage, types the text out, and exports a vertical 1080×1920 video with sound — ready for Shorts, Reels or TikTok. A Subway Surfers clip is included, or you can use your own video. It renders in your browser, so nothing is uploaded there either.
Two: the compact timeline card and the expanded post page, which shows a larger body, an absolute timestamp and the reposts, quotes, likes and bookmarks bar. Both come in Light, Dim and Lights out.
Free while we are in beta. No card, no export limit, no watermark.
